INTRODUCTION OF TOURISM

WHAT IS TOURISM?
Tourism encompasses all economic activities related with stimulated and spread by movement of people from one part of same country to another part or across the frontier while spending money earned else where for psychological,culture,social,or escapism reasons.
Tourism within the some country is called DOMESTIC TOURISM and tourism across the boarder is called INTERNATIONAL TOURISM.


WHAT ARE DOMESTIC TOURISTS?
People who in pursuit of pleasure,knowledge,social reasons,escapism or congress travel from their domicile to another part of the country or cross the frontier and spend money earned at their domicile.

WHO ARE INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS?
People who in pursuit of pleasure,knowledge,social contact,escapism or congress cross a frontier and stay for at least 24 hours in foreign country.In so doing spend money earned in one country to another and thereby contribute to the national income(GNP)
